Our PREMIX cold treated asphalt is designed for the construction of cold asphalt pavements with conventional machinery or by hand with basic tools.
From thick thicknesses to micro asphalts, it can be adapted to any project by modifying the original asphalts and improving their characteristics. In this way we obtain cold asphalts designed to suit the project, cost-effective, simple and with no distance limits for delivery, as it is a stable material at room temperature, easy to transport and handle.
Development and Quality
Advantages of cold asphalt
PREMIX Cold Asphalt is compatible with any type of aggregate. Cohesion, adhesion and coating are greatly improved. But it also increases workability.
Products manufactured in the EU under strict quality controls, according to UNE, ASTM and ISO standards. PREMIX cold asphalt can be mixed manually on site. Likewise, the binder can be spread without the need to use on-site machinery. Generating local employment, without the need for prior knowledge.
It is therefore much more economical than hot mixes and cold mixes that are already bagged. Once the mixture has been made, the leftovers are not lost. Simply cover it with plastic wrap and it can be stored for weeks.

Improving cities
WE GENERATE EMPLOYMENT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Having understood these 5 advantages of the use of cold asphalt, we can conclude that it is a system that can be used in underdeveloped countries, where roads provide access to food, schools, hospitals; it is a great economic solution, simple for the development of communities outside the developed centres.
That's why we say we promote employment and help communities develop. We employ local people who are usually unemployed, teach them a trade, develop their community by making their roads and bring home a wage, regardless of whether they are women or men.

COLD ASPHALT EMULSION: PREMIX
POLYAST supplies the asphalt emulsion ‘PREMIX’ IN BUCKETS. At destination they only have to organise human work teams, simple work tools (shovels, rakes, etc...) and the rest of the components of the asphalt mix, which are gravel and sand (since it makes no sense to transport this for cost reasons, when it is easily found in any destination country).
