This cold asphalt is spread directly on the surface, between two steel masters of the same thickness (-5 mm) as the asphalt layer to be spread. Spread and level the asphalt and remove the excess with a steel master screed resting on the two masters. Once smooth and leveled, compact the material with a smooth roller until the desired compaction is achieved. The product is applied at room temperature.
Our cold asphalt has the same performance as hot asphalt, so it can have a similar lifespan. There are factors that determine the durability of asphalt, such as traffic volume, the type of vehicles using it, the weather, etc. A timely monitoring and maintenance of the asphalt will prolong its service life.
